‘Have a go’ Llama Trekking

New for summer 2015! We are delighted to announce that our friendly resident Llamas have now been trained to take part in Llama trekking. In their native South America, Llamas have been used as pack animals by the Andean cultures for centuries; courtesy of their strength, sure-footedness and placid nature.

At Lower Drayton Farm you can get up-close and personal with these great animals, and enjoy an introduction in how to lead and handle them on your very own mini-trek around the farm attraction.

Please note: Llama Trekking ‘have a go’ sessions are weather dependent and subject to additional charge.

Feel free to call before you set out if you would like to check that the Llamas are trekking that day.
